Steve Mims

Chief Executive Officer

Steve Mims knows financial management. He has provided over twenty years of successful leadership in the areas of billing operations, contract negotiations, strategic planning and business valuations.

Bringing extensive billing knowledge accumulated through his past experience, Steve served as executive director of physician and financial services for Mercy Healthcare; president and chief executive officer of Kern County Billing Services, Inc; and practice administrator of Mercy Plaza Radiologic Medical Group. His relentless focus is the business and operational success of our clients.

Steve is an active member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and RBMA and has served as a past board member of the RBMA. As a practice administrator, Steve brings unique knowledge and experience to our clients with his expertise in hospital joint ventures, vendor relations, payor contracting and group dynamics.

Claudia Dwyer

President

Claudia Dwyer grows the practices she touches. Claudia joined PBS in 2010 and has led the company to its position as a national firm operating in 8 states. Prior to PBS, Claudia was with Healthcare Management Partners (HMP) and its predecessor organization. Under Claudia’s leadership, HMP grew from a $4 million to a $24 million company in six years, and ranked as the largest radiology billing company in the nation.

A recognized industry leader, Claudia has consulted with major academic medical practices, billing system vendors and software developers. She is a frequent speaker at professional meetings across the nation. A respected leader in radiology billing and management, Claudia has been an advocate for radiology reimbursement issues through efforts with the American College of Radiology (ACR) and has supported radiological organizations throughout the Western U.S.

She is a member of and former president of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) and a fellow of the inaugural class of the organization. Claudia also served as the liaison of the RBMA to the ACR including service on the economics commission of the ACR. Claudia is passionate about the business of radiology and thoroughly enjoys working with her clients to improve their practice performance.

Desiree Overcast

Chief Operations Officer

Desiree Overcast leads our operational teams, and is active in all aspects of client implementation and technology. Desiree came to PBS from a large imaging center where she led IT administration. She has years of experience in operational workflows of multiple radiology practices through her work with PBS. Desiree also brings a keen understanding of RIS/PACS/EMR/HL7 interfaces. Her unique operational perspective combined with this technical expertise delivers unparalleled results for our clients. Desiree brings critical understanding and know-how to maintain, streamline, automate and advance PBS workflows and systems to deliver superior operational and technical fluidity for our clients.

Nicole Jones-Gerbino

Chief Strategy Officer

Nicole Jones-Gerbino sees around corners and asks questions that bring continuous improvement for our clients. She brings over two decades of experience in practice management, revenue cycle leadership, and operations across radiology practices and health systems to PBS. Nicole’s tenure in radiology includes 5 years leading revenue cycle and outpatient operations for a leading multi-site imaging practice in Southern California. Most recently, Nicole worked in a senior leadership role at UC San Diego Health where she managed strategic growth and client development of large multi-specialty networks, helping providers navigate regulatory and quality programs and improve their financial outlook. She has served on various compliance and state regulatory boards, including the executive committee of the California RBMA.

Michael Gonzales

Executive Director of Client Relations

Michael Gonzales is our client advocate. He is deeply involved with state and national RBMA advocacy and education efforts and brings powerful insight to the changes many radiology groups will face in the next few years.

Michael previously served Radiological Associates of Sacramento (RAS) for 15 years where he directed all billing activities and managed more than 100 employees on his team. In 2014, the practice was acquired by Sutter Health where he took on the role of regional revenue cycle manager and was a key member of the transition team. His years of operational revenue cycle expertise continue to benefit PBS clients. Michael is a Fellow of the RBMA and has held numerous leadership roles in the organization at both national and state levels.

Landi Marriott

Executive Director of Implementations

Landi Marriott is our transition execution expert. With technical and project planning expertise, Landi has been a critical member of PBS management for 15 years. Landi’s tenure working with the Imagine software platform as a recognized super user helps PBS achieve smooth transitions for our clients. Landi and her team work with our clients from discovery and onboarding through implementation to ensure success. She is responsible for the seamless integration of our clients – whether they are coming from major vendors or in-house billing operations.

Shay Kelly

Executive Director of Information Technology

Shay Kelly is our software and technology delivery expert. Her broad experience spans across multiple size companies and infrastructure to provide advanced technology for our clients and working environments for our team. Shay’s military background brings a commitment to excellence as she leads PBS’s information technology initiatives.

Her 13 years of practical experience in information technology, strong technical background, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement deliver optimized system platforms and software development to PBS.

As a founding Imagine Software employee working in multiple roles for over a decade, Shay’s specialization in radiology blended with her development expertise positions her perfectly to lead our team of recognized Imagine superusers.

Lynda Murdock

Executive Director of Human Resources

Lynda Murdock engages employees and builds successful teams. Through her expertise, PBS recruits and retains top talent in 13 states. Lynda is a talented advocate for our employees, promoting professional growth at PBS through mentorship, training, and education for our teams.

A human resources professional who has a passion for inspiring others to succeed through education and professional development. Lynda has successfully aligned human capital with strategic performance goals within organizations in hospitality, healthcare, education, and global manufacturing, using her 20 years of human resources experience in organizational development and strategy, employee engagement, recruitment, and employee relations.

Kara Connor

Executive Director of Business Development

Kara Connor has a creative, individualized approach that delivers innovative solutions. A results-oriented sales and marketing professional leveraging over 20 years of successful experience in healthcare business development. Her vast contributions working in a leading multi-site Maryland Radiology Practice offer a unique benefit to our clients.

Kara supports PBS in all efforts to continue, design, and deploy marketing and business development strategies, service expansion plans, and unmatched client relationships and support.
